Arc ("Arc," "we," "us") is a self-coached endurance training app published by Largent Labs. We built Arc to be private by design. This policy explains what data Arc uses, where it lives, and the limited cases where data leaves your device — and only at your direction.

The short version

Health & fitness data

With your permission, Arc reads data from Apple Health — such as heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, and completed workouts — to calculate your daily readiness and to keep your training plan accurate. This data is processed on your device. Arc does not transmit your Health data to us or to any third party. You can review or revoke Arc's Health access at any time in the Health app under Data Access & Devices.

Where your data is stored

Your training plan, readiness history, and settings are stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may sync across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud (CloudKit) database. That data is held in your Apple account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and is not accessible to us.

The on-device AI coach

Arc's AI coach answers questions about your plan using Apple Intelligence's on-device language model. Your prompts and your training data used to ground the coach's answers are processed locally on your device and are not sent to us or to any external service.

Connections you choose to make

Arc can import your completed activities from third-party services when you explicitly connect them:

These connections are optional and initiated by you. Any data exchanged is handled directly between your device and that service under the service's own privacy policy. You can disconnect these services at any time in Arc's settings.

Purchases

Arc Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase and entitlement information is handled by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Analytics & tracking

Arc includes no third-party analytics or advertising frameworks and does not build a profile of you. Arc uses the system's standard storage (UserDefaults), shared between the app and its widget and watch extensions, to save your preferences on device. This is not used for tracking.

Children

Arc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app. Continued use of Arc after an update means you accept the revised policy.
